Dear Valued Customers,We’re thrilled to announce some exciting updates to Sushi Kuni’s menu! While we’ve made a few changes, our main goal was not to raise prices across the board. In fact, most of our prices have remained unchanged, and we are grateful for the support of our loyal customers. Despite rising ingredient costs, we have worked hard to maintain stable pricing wherever possible.Chef Aki has been busy creating new and delicious dishes to keep your dining experience fresh and exciting. Some of the new highlights include:Wagyu Tataki – Seared, sashimi-style A5 Wagyu, seasoned with black pepper. Crispy Flower of the Sea – A flavorful mix of spicy tuna, ponzu hamachi, and tornado salmon, served with crispy cups. Specialty Rolls like the Super Dragon Roll, Geisha Roll, Lion Roll, and Super Seattle Roll – all bringing unique flavors to the menu! Additionally, we’ve introduced a 7-piece Sushi Flight, which offers a premium selection of nigiri for our guests. To make room for these new dishes, we’ve removed the five-piece nigiri and sashimi pricing. However, the price has not changed, and we continue to offer the 5th piece of nigiri or sashimi at 50% off.We’ve also redesigned the menu to make it easier to navigate. Gluten-free items are now clearly marked, and we’ve used bolder colors and larger text for better readability.Lastly, there are a few items where prices have been adjusted due to changes in ingredients. The Salmon, Tuna, and Rainbow Towers, as well as the Deluxe Chirashi and Chef’s Appetizers Board, have seen price increases to ensure we continue using the highest quality ingredients.We are deeply grateful for your continued support and loyalty. It was a night of anxious anticipation, but thankfully, our efforts bore fruit, allowing us to open on Thursday.Tough Decisions During Peak Business HoursThe weekend, usually a bustling time at Sushi Kuni, was eerily quiet. With heavy hearts, we decided to close on Saturday and Sunday, prioritizing the safety of our staff and patrons over profits.
